I am writing to you to thank you for helping my 11 year old son to achieve his black stripe ranking. For him I believe his personal reward came the day he tested for his black stripe. His classmates openly encouraged him before he started testing and were clapping and patting him on the back when he was done. (to a boy this age peer recognition means a lot) My family did the same, but we were further rewarded because we watched him test with confidence and effort - we were in awe!
Justin has self-respect and confidence that seems uncommon for a boy his age (12). I attribute a lot of this to his accomplishments under your guidance as his instructor. He will carry this with him into the near and far future. Parent, Nelson BC
